The Adjusted Historical Canadian Climate Data (AHCCD) web site provides adjusted precipitation and homogenized temperature data sets, which can be used for climate research.

These data incorporate a number of statistical adjustments to the original station data and should be used for research purposes only.  These data are not the official Meteorological Service of Canada in situ station record and therefore should NOT be used for legal purposes.

Users are strongly cautioned to examine all data critically and determine its suitability for their application.  Users should also be aware that ongoing research on adjustment techniques may result in future revisions of the datasets.  The datasets are updated at the beginning of each year with the most recent data.

A username and password are required to download data, which can be easily obtained by an online registration form and agreeing to the licensing conditions.
